Come along on exciting worldwide voyages with video tapes mostly of flying first class. And no, I am not rich, just very creative and persistent about my love for travel to faraway places

Concorde from Check-in, incredibly fast take-off! in-flight, and arrival-see sound barrier wave!!
Fly with me on Concorde between London Heathrow and New York JFK in 2002. experience the check-in, taxi, take off at 250 MPH, in-flight to supersonic speed,(faster than most bullets), the service on board, steep approach and landing, (Be sure to watch the landing at 35 knots faster than subsonic aircraft)! And finally a year later towed up the Hudson on a barge to the Intrepid Museum at retirement. Note at the 7 minute mark a shadow moves quickly thru the plane- it’s a reflection of the sound wave with the plane catching up. Record Concorde New York-London was 2 hours, 52 minutes, 59 seconds!

The Longest Flight in the World. Ever. Come Along!
Просмотров 6 тыс.9 лет назад
Come along on the longest scheduled commercial flight ever flown, Newark-Singapore. I t was short on the outbound, only 18 hours, But the return was 19 hours 10 minutes, and over 10,000 miles.
Scenes from American Airlines Trans-Con Flight EWR-LAX

A first class trans -con flight prior to 9/11 on an American Airlines 757 from Newark to Los Angeles. See the Rocky Mountains from the air, the Mojave Desert, Colorado River, Palm Springs and the LA Valley and mountain range on approach to landing at LAX. A quick visit to Beverley Hills and downtown LA with an earthquake, and then a return flight from LAX flying by Santa Catalina Island, Coahel...
Continental Airlines Inaugural to Hong Kong

Come along on the first non-stop EWR-HKG. The Inaugural of CO flight 99 on March 1, 2001, the first commercial plane to fly over the North Pole in scheduled service!
Very fast takeoff 😮
3:47 that's not fog close to the ground, that's fog created by the rapid pressure (and therefore temperature) drop above the wing as the plane tilts upwards! I've only been on Concorde in a museum, sadly.
I think it is truly awful that we haven't got these aeroplanes anymore.
what a noisy plane
Thanks for the vid! Fascinating!
WHAT? No USB charging ports in the seats? They have been around since 1996, amateurs! I would not have flown with them. :D
Reading newspapers...what a time to be alive
Whos watching this in 2024
It's crazy there weren't more disasters at takeoff. There's no aborting just a few seconds after full throttle.
Actually there would have been zero disasters if Concorde used a seperate runway then the commercial jets
You’ve done an incredible job, Thank you 🙏👍
Amazing! Thank you! Wish I could have flown on Concorde.
boże że taki samolot latał i potrafili go skonstruować ludzie 50 lat temu.A dziś najnowsza technologia, gigabity pamięci i nie ma takich samolotów.
What are those big sheets of paper that passengers are looking at?
Humans concord the moon in 1959 and since then never happened and had supersonic planes and now nothing... I thought we are now technologically advanced? How do you explain that? It makes no sense
NASA had a huge budget for that, the US government was competing with the commies and they were willing to throw alot of money at it. NASA now has to fight for every measly dollar they can get and they have to devote those funds to multiple things. The concorde was horribly inefficient for fuel, could only have 100 passengers and were expensive to run. Also not many people wanna pay $12 000 for a ticket.
Oh God the take off...........
I happened to blink and half this flight was over. Such a very small interior just like the first lear jets. Wasted foot is teribble to see when such a high quality of time and effort put into this main meal.
People here in 2024 👇
Me
very exciting, really
Such a dangerous craft
That was not fog at the start. That was condensation caused by the low pressure on top of the wings because or the steep angle of attack
Can’t believe the Concorde flight only took 16 mins 14 seconds. Such an impressive feat of engineering.
some parts of the video were cut off or id be too long of a video. Paris crossing the Atlantic should take about 2 hours.
The Concorde is such a beautiful machine. I wish they did shows at least where you could go look at it and see it take off. In my city once a year the fighter jets do a show flying over the city and its amazing. So loud! They used to do a dump and burn where the fuel is on fire after it comes out of the plane.
Whoever filmed this was wise. What a cool video
That’s me! Thanks
so many people steal content from others- I didn't want to blindly praise the poster, but now I know. So awesome. You must have really enjoyed it. I loved seeing all the 747s in the background too @@JKevinBrady801
Yeah well done you for being that rich for owning a video camera and flying concorde.....back then. seriously, well done for keeping the footage and uploading it.....its history !!!!!
watching this in 2024 - sadly the world is progressing backwards
Not fog close to the ground. Did you see any fog? Are you stupid? That's induced vapour formation in the low pressure areas of the wing, brought about by the increased AOA of the wing at rotate.
A the fact you know it, makes you to think that the guy who does not know this is stupid. Are you stupid?
So many beautiful aircrafts in this video
what a rare vlog of Concorde, Thanks for sharing. we aren't privileged enough to have a experience of this beautiful plane you did, It almost feels like you are on fighter jet
isnt this what p diddy used to fly people down to him faster
did the concorde travel in time?
Faster than the earth was turning-
Thank you for sharing this with us all. I dearly loved this beautiful piece of engineering and social history. It brought the world closer together. The thing about this aircraft is, that so many people, even if they never had the good fortune to fly her (like myself) always have a story or two to share about an experience with her. I had a dear friend, now sadly no longer with us who worked for British Airways for most of his life. He was part of the ground crew for Concorde, he had one of those old Nokia 3310 style phones for absolutely years with this tyreprint case and sellotape over the screen. When everyone started to get modern phones and he stuck with his old Nokia we asked him why and it was because he accidentally dropped it as Concorde was being pushed and started and the landing gear had run the phone over. Being a Nokia, it still worked but the screen cracked and he aerosol lacquered over the tyre print to preserve it 😅
Anyone that has been on concorde....it's like being in a rocket...incredibly narrow seating.....It's like hitching a ride on a missile...
Thank you I miss the Concorde!
2-3 hrs from London to New York is incredible!!!
This no longer Exists, we've gone backwards
Is the clip showing when the supersonic boom happens? Cant Seem to find it
The Concorde needs to fly again
I assume those tickets were priced like that of the first class tickets today in normal flights.
Where I grew up in London, as the crow fly's about 10 miles from Heathrow when Concorde took off you could hear it's jet engines very clear and loud!
1250 mph ?!?
More like GONEcorde...
we were more advanced than now. the future already happend and we are going only backwards from now
Wow, I wish I had experienced this just once!
Very loud inside the Concorde
Damn I noticed the BA 747 in the background...... RIP
I guess, I'm ahead of my time... #gunendra
I never got to fly on Concorde, I was only a teenager when it was retired. But one of my Dads friends did, and he gave me the leather folder with all the Concorde souvenirs that you were given on the plane. I still have it all unused, it was far too nice to use the pens or anything else that came with it.
Save it - I have lots of old airline memorabilia
not a phone in sight, just people living the moment
look at this fancy food.
I now know where Rayanair pilots did their landing trainings
